Trainer Spotlight: Kate Bomgaars Reuter

Kate began riding at the age of four at the Paddock in Rochester, Minnesota, where she was born and raised. By age 16 she began riding with Olympian, Laura Kraut in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She commuted four hours each way every week for the opportunity. As an amateur she won every major high amateur owner classic at every major event, including: Palm Beach, Madison Square Garden, Spruce Meadows, Cincinnati, Ocala, Chicago, Detroit, Lake Placid and more.

With her Grand Prix stallion, Online (Linus) Kate won seven Grand Prix in 2008 and two more in 2009, with top placings in many others around the country. More recently, Kate has trained with Olympic trainer, Frank Gombolay.
